Glencoe Marathon

Written by Phil on . Posted in Articles, Latest

Bit of an odd post I know but just to let you know what is going on. I am currently training to run The Glencoe Marathon which is a 26.2 mile run in the mountains of Scotland. A few years ago I did a mountain marathon in Snowdonia and when I finished that I promised I would never do another. A good friend persuaded me to tackle this with him and so here I am. Why the hell am i telling you this you may ask? This training takes up loads of my free time which is already exhausted through a family with 2 small kids a job and all that entails. I do love playing games and I miss it when I can’t get to my PC at home and spend a few hours simming or battling it out on the virtual battlefield. therefore instead of saying “I wont be posting much” I’m going to try to post more frequently as and when I play. I know I don’t post that much anyway and I feel like I’m neglecting this side of my life which I enjoy so much. But if there are any gaps rest assured I keep up with all your blogs with great interest (what else would I do at work?)

Anyway a quick list of what is taking up my interest at the moment.

  1. Graviteam Tactics Operation Star (This really is fantastic)
  2. UG – Gettysburg (Getting better and better)
  3. Majestic Dash 8 Q400 (Back to real simulation flying)
