Fleet Command

I am still getting to grips with the encyclopaedic Command Modern Air Naval Operations but sometimes you need a quick fix and Fleet Command provides that really well. This strategy game came out in 1999 under Janes Combat Simulations and then somewhere along the line Sonalysts, the same company that made the great Dangerous Waters took over. Sadly they don’t make Naval warfare games anymore. This recreational military game presents realistic graphical depictions and accurate modelling and simulation of the manoeuvring and combat system capabilities of U.S., Allied, neutral and potentially hostile forces. The radio chatter is pleasing and has that sort of Tom Clancy feel to it. If that makes sense?

If you like this sort of thing it runs well on modern operating systems.

Fleet Command has been on my PC for a long time and it’s game icon sits proudly right next to CMANO and rightly so. You can get it on Steam for as little as £6.99. Well worth it.
